Novacoast announces VoiceRD on SUSE Linux

Spams top 600

Spam is on the rise in my gmail mailbox. It has again reached 600 spam messages in the Gmail Spam Filter. How many cool items refered by others can I use? Can we really stop spam ?

BES / BBerry _now you have it, now you don't!_

Less than a year of having RIM's BES4 talking GW65 worldwide, the plug might get pulled outside of market forces. Novell's Collaboration suite is not the only one affected as MS-Exchange and IBM Notes/Domino BBerry communications can also halt if the NTP vs. RIM injunction goes through. Read about it _here_

I heard earlier reports that the USA DoD would not allow it as many of the higher Ups used the RIM wireless text messenger.




wHAX live CD pen_test demo'd

Last night's TASK.to meeting was particularly interesting as the Demo showed vulnerability exploit testing. The wHAX live CD offers a collection of pen test tools. A great way to test your firm's current security online. It's based on SLAX and is modular. One from the whoppix team mentions that some of the v3.0 tools (build) is broken and will be fixed soon.

Seems MSRC(Microsoft Security Response Center) is looking to get a patch out prior to the usual December monthy Super Tueday sked. See this report. A good time to switch to Firefox yet?
